Interesting design. I think you could improve the process by adding a cam acutated switch that would stop the motor when the basket is immersed. You can then load the next basket. A simple 555 timer would restart the motor and move the second basket into the water. The first birds could then be removed and the basket reloaded. Nice work.

does this REALLY save time? I just wonder if using the hangers with 4 birds would be as fast or is it worth the extra $ to use?
