For those of you asking if I have donated an organ (I've noticed a handful of comments), quite frankly, fuck off, because it's none of your business. It's a serious personal decision for each individual. I have not questioned/called upon ANY USER to give up their organs in this video, as it is a video about medical POLICY. It is not my right or place to ask you what you do with your body. I expect the same respect.

Is not 100,000 yearly that need kidney transplant, the waiting list is a bit more than 100,000 so far. The reason there is not more organs is not because people are greedy but because the few organs that do come in are "reserved" to people that get head of line privileges, more than likely, due to their economical status.

Refer to the poor as greedy is ludicrous. The rich will still get head of line to live.

@selftrainedjedi Selling organs would be voluntary. Voluntary exchange is not "exploitative". Under the current system people don't get the organs. It doesn't matter if you're "rich" or not. Most people don't even pay the full cost of major medical because it's covered by insurance companies.

Person A has an organ and wants to sell it. Person B wants to buy the organ. Why should an armed 3rd party prevent the transaction?

Why can't the price be set by the market itself? I mean you let every other price in medicine be set by the market from the doctor to the medicine, so why not the kidney. Just ask the soviets how well government set prices worked for them.

Stem cell research is the clear, obvious answer.

Add to that the state mandating the removal of organs prior to the disposal of the body for all "healthy" corpses, without the need for parental or spouse consent. The default position should be opt-in.

She says in instances of life and death, the priority should be life. She said in an earlier blog that she hates religion because of wars, crusades,etc OH AND because they try to SAVE LIVES and stop abortion. Just Imagine companies setting up shop in the third world and impoverished areas of India, china to farm organs from the poor and desparate , to save the rich and spoiled. Imagine the economic possibilites the horrid human trafficking in the czech republic could do to help support your idea After all people like you deserve life and as always would be willing to murder , kidnap and exploit to get it. Your final commentary about capitalism and the exploitation of the poor as a justifcation for your arguement just proves what a waste sending you to college was. I will sell my house and liquadate all may assets I want to buy your organs just so you will be no more. Are you going to backpedal , you said it was a good idea.
