i have called it the haidalinjo. due to the artwork on the box.i collect this sort of art , but this box was too round for anything else . i used an old broom stick ,an old mandolin bridge, two old banjo pegs and a metal rod for the nut
its not very loud but i am going to fit a pickup in it , it sounds great with a bottle neck but i will save that for amplification at the moment it sounds a bit indian
i have used the d and g string off of my ovation guitar as it needs a new set
i have no editing software working at the moment so this is straight from my camera .
sorry for poor quality could have done with a bit more light

  • This is great. Hard to believe a homemade two-stringed instrument could sound so cool.

  • @dankoch2010 thanks there is a new video up with the pickup fitted

  • Nice instrument. Sounds good. I've been wanting to build something like this for a long while now but never seem to get round to doing it.

  • @CharmedQuarkZ99 cheers for stopping by

  • Very cool sound. Some of those notes make it sound very eastern - but with a cool rock rhythm. I really enjoyed.
