My neighbor's reaction to my Christmas lights

I have 25,000 blue LED lights and 40,000 mini lights along with a 18' giant Santa and a Santa in a helicopter plus other displays and this is my neighbors response!

1. The initial cost of lights and setup time is what costs. The cost to run led's over the holidays is neglible.

2. Most responsible neighbors buy a limited distance FM trasmitter to play the music in a manner that does not bother anyone.

3. His neighbor has a good sense of humour...and a smaller budget.

I've seen plenty of displays that "work" and many that don't. Those claiming that this is 'white trash', well...your character is known.

Watch the video about the Magic Kingdom's castle at Disney World.

They say that they are all LED lights and use the same amount of power as 3 electric clothes dryers.

They are running over 200,000 lights !!

So if these Christmas light displays are all LED lights then the cost of electricity to run them is not much at all.

Of course if you program the display correctly , you never really have them all on at the same time for any length of time so electricity use is still low with regular lights.
