@TBustah well, this is a late comment but there was one commercial id seen where they said it was the first time 3 was in america and showed the opening where they ride chocobos. i saw it like 3 times. oh, thats kinda ironic.

Did they even advertise the game at all in the US, other than in magazines?
It's a great game, I got it for Christmas last year. I actually haven't even finished it yet, that last dungeon is a pain to navigate.
