sim city SNES - 900,000+ citizens

My attempt at the biggest city ever. It seems to be stuck at this point and will go no further; then again who knows?

I don't get this game. Every time I try and build a city, it says there's too much pollution or not enough roads or the taxes are too high or stuff like that. How do I get it to get like this? Can someone give me any tips?

@jmpowers83: I tried roads and to cut down on it just use rails and try to spread out the "I's" with the majority being on the outskirts.

Pepole will always complain about something. I have even got away with a 32% disapproving about crime since I destroyed the pd's to make more homes, but thats just me.

Taxes are always complained about, even when its 1%, go figure.

You can try to use the 999,999 money cheat and think of it as a federal goverment subsidy so you will feel less guilty.

@jmpowers83: I also try and buldoze any hospitals that come up and immediatly replace it with another "H" since a "H" means people and a hospital does not.

Why am I not not surprized that you skipped land value on the Map Screen? You should at least state in the description box that you have used a land value cheat like you do in your other video. No normal city in this game would have populated R-zones that close to the corners without cheating as you have. A little tip though, since you are already using cheat codes, try replacing all your gifts and PDs with R and C-zones instead. That will give you an even higher population.

There are others here that have populated their corners and used the water building thing. complain to them insted.

Check out 1:19 into the video... 26% Unemployment... that sounds like the U-6 rate in the United States right now! As an (employed) American, I have to say, "OUCH!".

...as an aside, I got a chuckle when I saw, "Megaropolis".
