@wernernon78 no Im not 100years old but old enough to have seen both THAI and SIA evolve from small exotic asian carriers into mega carriers...SIA was always the better but THAI have excellent marketing that hide the fact that THAI mostly was a mediocre carrier.

@TG7471 in 1989 THAI had awful service...old B747 and DC10,smelly lavatories,delay uncleaned aircraft and air hostesses speaking awful english..since then they have improved but you did not miss anything in 1989.
