tangerine dream as they should sound............ no saxaphone, no drums and no bloody women singers. they were so wonderfull to watch, 3 people making beautifull blankets of sounds that just captured you and washed all over you like a musical tsunami. now its like watching and listening to a fairground act. the crowd only coming to life when an old piece is re- worked into the set. Come on edgar........ sort it out before you cant and you look back and wish you had, for the fans. we deserve it.

Edgar Froese alone and with all due respect is not Tangerine Dream. It took three other talented musicians Chris Franke, Peter Baumann and Johannas Schmoelling to complement the band.

Cold and distant..this song makes me feel as if I were left out in the rain .
ah the early 80s...
I remembered how I thought this disc was so not as good as Tangram when it came out..
It has aged well..all their pre-'88 stuff has .
Sent Edgar a letter in 1980 not expecting anything . I just had to tell him how great his band was . he sent me a box set.. TD 70-80..on vinyl . Hard to find now and worth a small fortune .
You gotta love that kind of appreciation !

Im still banging my head on the wall, cause i had almost all the TD Coleccion on Cassettes and i throw them to the Trash, Cassestte Deck Ruined and i got
desperate . . . all of them to the trash ????

When his son joined the band TD died...He's a fine musician, but it lost its soul at that point. Pre-Optical race is the best this band created.
