  • Quit taking flight for granted! MOVE!

  • i have a simple solution to your problem... MOVE... the airport has been there for ever... if u don't like it just leave but don't move there and then try to complain about the problem that YOU knew about

  • omg turn it off its to noisy

I have to go make brekfest how cant i do that with this noise

geez pepole just like to bitch

  • @scooter797979 Haha, awesome. I wish somebody would film me flying the pattern at FCM. I'll make as much noise as my little Lycoming O235 can muster!

  • Mam, the noise abatement outlined by MAC said that the airport was closed (for most operations) until 6am. Are you complaining that there are airplanes or that they are not completing the noise abatement turn as recommended by the voluntary ordinance? I used to live in Mpls and being in the flight path for MSP I know what it's like to live with airplane noise (BIG airplane noise). Also, perhaps you could try a little sugar with pilots rather than vinegar. I'm a pilot too.

  • I never liked arrogant people like scooter797979 who can spend a lot of money on something to use it against my peace and quiet. The worst ones are ones who just do circles over one area. At one time it didn't bother me but it became more frequent. I did not live "next" to the airport, I believe the airport realigned the landing routes which caused the problem.

  • Just a thought, when airplanes take off they make noise. Most pilots go out of their way to reduce noise as much as possible, but they do still make some noise... That is why you should not buy a home next to an airport unless you are a pilot, willing to live with the noise or hearing impaired... I am sure the airport was there long before you were, quit whining!
