  • @ssiddons In case you haven't heard yet, they will play a one-off show at the Sound Academy on Friday March 23, 2012.

  • this song sounds like shit with this guy singing it

  • @obcpunk Brian is a great singer, I think better than Edwin overall, but his voice didn't have the same raw angst that they needed in the earlier stuff. He was much better suited for BGO and QMD which were both pretty damn good.

Probably the band I would resurrect if I had the power to bring just one back.

  • @zekethehillbilly Love IME, agree with you on the Tanna brothers rockin it but I've gotta disagree with you on Buckethead, man. No doubt he's got some very bizarre sounding songs, some that are downright unlistenable but that's because he completely and totally loves the guitar. I'm pretty sure he was born with it attached to his hip. As for nice sounding songs check out: Sail on Soothsayer, Space Cadillac, All In The Waiting, Waiting Here, Running From The Light, For Mom, and Big D's Touch.

  • I mother earth will never be the same without Edwin. I'm not saying Edwin made the band but he brought more to the table then this fella.

  • @whitetuftlittlebeave I think you're wrong, keeping the band alive kept them from losing the knack for songwriting. Imagine if Jag and his Bro went solo, or formed a supergroup with some jokers who were twice as competitive, but only had half the talent as the Tannas. I Love the fact that Jag is primarily a musician, and rarely lets his soloing get in the way of a good tune! BTW I was just listening to Buckethead for a long time. Now theres a guy who has no fucken clue what sounds good

Ya right. His voice is AMAZING! Quicksilver Meat Dream is perfect.

  • byrne is way better than edwin in my opinion. he doesn't sound the exact same as edwin doing this song, but it's because he's not as nasal. i thought quicksilver meat dream was their coolest, if weirdest album... this song is great regardless of who's singing it....

  • another underated band.

  • Thanks for the upload! Definitely a great treasure find.
