EDIT: Found the lap timer print outs, the fastest lap was actually a 1:32.505, the second lap.

First trip to Hallett with the camera! The CRX did great, and I had a lot of fun. My sister is riding shotgun, and it really made the day even sweeter that she came and had a good time. :) Hope you enjoy the video. I'll have some shorter lap-by-lap videos posted once they make it through editing.

  • The drivetrain is for sale...

The engine had 30-35K on it according to Inline 4. I have put another 15K on it since installation.

The engine is stock and the S4C trans has a Quaife LSD and Fidanza 8.8lb Flywheel installed. Injectors have been serviced at my work, DeatschWerks. Wire harness and ECU NOT included. $4500

Innovative Mounts billet engine mounts (Race (85A) - Grey) - $225

New IM shift linkages - $125

    Raxles B-swap Axles - $400

    No Trades, No Parting...

  • why isnt the b16b tranny on it??

  • @stavy33 It does have the B16B transmission. S4C w/ LSD. The only thing I changed was the Quaife differential. CTR's didn't get the 4.85 final drive.

  • very nice! =) i regularly go to hallett and have a spanking time there. looks like the quaife does wonders on turn 2! what speed do you pull through that?

left foot braking up to the hill leading up to the bitch looks good as well. what tires are you running? summer performance?

when i go up the bitch i typically get upto 8.5k rpms let off and let the car brake from the hill and power down clipping both apexes then down to 2 powering out.

    oh i drive a red EK with a JDM b18c R. =)

  • Thanks. Gauging from the tach coming out of 2 it looks like I'm in the 35-40mph range.

    I was on Nitto NT01 tires - 225/45-15.

If you have the JDM transmission, you probably have the 4.850 final drive. The B16B comes with the 4.400 FD, so that might be why our RPMs are different.

  • I have to watch this regularly in the winter while my b16 hatch is parked. Thanks.

  • @rayray891 Nope, not ticking. It's been a great engine. The car has been down all season for chassis improvements. Hopefully she'll be back and ready to wheel-to-wheel for the 2011 season. :)

  • @rayray891 yeah let's hope it's not...hahaha

  • @aayuuB lets hope its not ticking lol

  • I'm jealous

  • Nice track ;)

  • =) no i think we're pretty much even.

the JDM transmission is seperated into 2 versions; 96 to 97 type Rs have the 4.4FD too. =)

ahhh, you have almost a 300lb advantage and 25mm tire width more than me. but still a damn good drive. i run bout 1:34-35 anti-clockwise. sadly, it was my last time running this last saturday..
