  • She sounds soooo boring

  • @hannahhorsego actually, grabbing mane helps you balance if your horse takes off early or late or even does a retarded jump. grabbing my horses mane has saved my butt numerous times. and in the coaching course i'm taking, they talk about jumping and how when you are learning to jump you should grab mane because it will help you get used to the feel of holding yourself up in the saddle (in 2-point) and etc.

  • lol u are not supposed to grab the horse's main. And Shes going to get someone hurt jumping in a western saddle.

  • omg, a western saddle? and isn't it a lot easier to start beginning jump work on a lunge line that way you don't have to deal with a "big awkward jump"? geesh people.

  • oh dear god. a western saddle for jumping? and i love how when she says the horse needs to be able to go forward, it shows a horse doing a ridiculously slow western jog.
