Minecraft CamStudio Test + Aether Chest Mimics!

Well, Evil_Notch asked me to get footage of the Aether Mod's Chest Mimics after I mentioned that they looked similar to the ones in the EvilMinecraft preview vid...

Also, I needed a way to see how CamStudio would handle Minecraft. Obviously, there's room for improvement (such as, I told it to record at 25fps, but during recording, it said the actual capture rate was around 17fps...) Recorded using x.264 codec, maximum quality, Minecraft default resolution of 854x480, USB stick as temporary recording directory since I'm on a laptop and couldn't use an internal secondary drive. The only editing I did was to shorten terraingen load time (and the Spawner GUI fail, hence the music acceleration at that point).

And yes, I seriously have Optimine/Optifog. I can barely run a vanilla Minecraft snow world without it!

I think I have an idea... CamStudio keeps switching back to "Use Windows temporary directory" instead of "User defined directory", and I noticed that Minecraft in-game doesn't lag any worse with the directory default of %temp% instead of a USB drive. On the other hand, USB might not be able to force 25 frames a second over that connection... Next video I try making, I'll see if recording locally gets the Actual Capture Rate up.
