Corrupt Blood [Live Action: Short Film] (2010) {6-Minute Film Festival Version}
Film Festival Screening: April 24, 2010

The winner of 1 T.S.F.F. Award for "Best Editing" in the Toronto Student Film Festival, an international festival dedicated to students aged 12 to 21, "Corrupt Blood" is the action-packed thriller chronicling the everyday life of Mitchell Daugherty (Joseph Ghaleb), an English exchange student from Winnipeg, Manitoba, attending a French high school in Montréal, Québec. This is no ordinary day for Mitchell, however. For him, marks are high in every subject except French, which he has difficulty in. He then plots a theft of the French end-of-year provincial exams, and asks his friend, Gary (Peter Malek), if he's interested in getting a copy. Once he refuses to take part, Gary decides to turn against him and expose this plot he's planning with an outside accomplice (Andrew Bouchard). It's a game of misunderstandings, betrayals, and cat-and-mouse, where people you once trusted turn out to be your enemies. Corrupt Blood will keep you on the edge of your seat for its six electrifying minutes! It proves that an action film doesn't require guns, bombs, and explosions to be good...

  • The dude in the army jacket is good. But that other kid intimidating him is crap, lmfao. And cut out that last line in the movie, reaks of Cheeze.

  • Hahah. Joseph and peter. Well first off it could be filmed with better angles, it is good none the less. Acting was alright, i'm not saying its bad. one problem. FIX THE AUDIO. We need to hear what they say clearly.
