  • damn bro!!! u r da bomb hommie u go into detail with the help full info keep up the good work..

  • Hey Pirate, awesome video. You da man!

You are a good teacher. Lots of good info. Thank you.

  • eBay Pirate you are ABSOLUTELY correct about not shipping internationally. Every seller in the United States should only ship in the U.S. and should use a tracking method such as from USPS or UPS to help protect yourself from internet thieves.

  • Great advice as always - alot of people need to know this stuff!

  • I do not use paypal and never will. I have been allowed to keep listing cause I accept merchant credit cards. IDK what will happen after Jan 15th, but we shall see...

  • I've been buying a lot off of craigslist lately.

And I'll be using it more to sell as well.

I also made a purchase from an eBay seller who gave me a discount for dealing outside of eBay.

As times get tougher economically, people will look for more ways to save money. Cutting out the eBay middleman is one good way to do that.

  • I was forced to re-sign up with PP, but I use a special account only for PP. So far so good, all transactions have been OK for me the past few months, I am not as active, but all purchases have been good. I have not tried to sell yet on ebay, I sell locally now.

One thing, I've had to wait around for UPS and USPS a few times to SIGN for shit! I DID NOT LIKE THAT AS A BUYER! Waiting all day for delivery is a real pain in the ass. Seller should insure instead. Signing is OK for high cost items.

  • Of course sellers getting scammed only applies to the common eBay seller and the lower level power sellers (that's gold and below).

If you pull down enough big bucks for eBay and PayPal they kiss your butt, give you a phone number and representative for both companies, and serve you as one of the sellers that best feeds their greed machine.

Level playing fields be damned, you have to pay through the nose for any decent service from eBay.

And, DJ, great as always (even for a repeat LOL).

  • Fantastic as always, thanks for all the great info!

  • Thanks Dj this is very helpful info, I hope others become aware of all these scams before

    they're scammed!
