  • Interesting piece... like some kind of atonal outer-space mystery. I've always been impressed by the right hand technique of flamenco guitar players, but I'm totally amazed by some of the pipa performers lighting-quick and precise techniques! I appreciate your devotion and passion to music of China, especially the non-urbanized/commercialized representations of ethnic-folk music; best wishes! :o)

  • Thanks for uploading! Hope to see more videos of contemporary pieces for pipa in the future. It's a pity that usually those pieces are only heard once or twice in concert hall and then disappear from audiences forever.

Btw, why not upload some videos of the songs from your latest album, Immeasurable Light? It's a very good album! While videos of Night Thoughts and Leaves Flying in Autumn are already available in YouTube, I'm really curious how other pieces sound like in live performance!

  • Sounds great. You own that thing. It comes across with every single note.
