fun little plastic lens. I am not sure what I would actually shoot with it, maybe a horror short.... It's a pinhole so you have to turn the iso up to 6400 and the shutter speed way down. I suggest messing around with different white balances. Enjoy

  • Oh yer and a question, I have noticed from other videos there are a few settings with this lens, simply by twisting it around does that change the colour and effect of the footage, or did you colour correct the video footage in post production?

  • @RedSpectrumPictures

no post color changes. I messed around with White balance in camera until I found something I liked before shooting.

  • Do you find that it lets dust into your camera? Also can I ask where you brought it from because I see a lot on ebay coming form hong kong.

  • @dominicdavistv

I guess you noticed the specs of dust too. Not really sure why that is. It is a pinhole (no glass) but you can barely see through it. I order all my accessories off ebay from Hong Kong. I haven't had a problem yet. It usually takes about 3 weeks shipping. If you are in a hurry, I suggest B and H. The link is in the discription.

  • @leehaze1 those specks = dust or dirt on the cameras sensor

  • @tommarshallnikon

thanks, I was thinking that, I always take extra care when changing lenses. Some gunk snuck in I guess. Suprised the sensor shakey thing didn't shake it off. I got one of those sensor blower things. I will give it a try.

    Thanks

  • I scratched my screen for like 15 seconds before realizing it was in the video lol

  • I love this little lens, I cant wait to get one, hopefully santa will bring me one tonight :) I wont be shooting anything specific with, hopefully just some tests. But i am sure I could create a very stylized short film with it,
