I live in Phoenix and was about 7 when KOY-FM went off the air. I even remember having their fridge magnet. But my parents usually turned on soft rock and smooth jazz (now played on KOY's former frequency), so I knew little or nothing that the infamous pundit was once a local DJ. Good thing Tim stuck with his job.

My God, I just wrote the same screed on an old Al Franken SNL clip, except replaced "Liberal" with "conservative". Shocking how similar the stupidity from the stupid people from all different ideologies sounds remarkably the same!

Ha...that's funny. I do believe that there are people in the extreme on both sides, so I'm not doubting you. I don't consider myself an ideologue though...I have agreed with some things from the left but in general find the right is more in line with my own personal beliefs. To each their own I suppose.
