@Ceeef5 very much so. he was addicted to cocaine, note how on many songs from juturna he referenced the drug. ( stop the fucking car- your face is light and cocaine white, etc...) though while being sober, he now seems to have a different outlook on life,which caused the way circa makes music, to change. they went from making songs with much ambience, probably all relating to being high, to much more melodic and striaghtforeward ballads, which in my opinion are both awesome
