  • aww i love belugas!! they are my second favorite whale. my favorite is the belugas cousin..narwhals! :D

    cute vid!!(rated 5 stars)

  • me too, that is so much fun!

  • i went to sea world camp and i got to sleep next to them <3 i slept like a baby next to them compared to the dolfins

  • Every morning trainers are required to prepare hundreds of pounds of fish for the whales. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. They DO NOT have to do behaviors for this food! Fish isn't the only thing they get rewarded for. After the trainers are done giving breakfast to the whales in the morning they do training sessions. They sometimes reward the animals with fish. They couldn't care less if they just had 100 lbs. of it! Only 10% of the fish they eat in a day is from reward! Go SeaWorld!

  • This is only the closeup pool. Notice how they often disappear. There is more than one pool, you know. There is a med pool, too. The whales are free to go to them whenever they please so they can bond with trainers. If they didn't like humans, which they do, they wouldn't go to their trainers. They'd stay away, but they love their trainers so they will leave a pool just to visit.

  • He's not begging for food, salli sea star. He is getting fed because that is how things live...did know that? There are over 2,000 fish in the beluga whale habitat, so they're not starving. In fact, 40% of the fish they consume they kill themselves. If you put them back in the sea they would die. Who's the murderer now? They take good care of their animals. One of their caregivers is one of the nicest men iv'e ever met. One of them, Nuknuk, is 50 years old. that's over their average lefespan!

  • Great video! I loved how Allua actually came right up to the glass and looked straight at you. It's always hard to get them to interact as much as the killer whales, but they certainly have their own fun. Allua is such a crack-up ^_^

  • I luv belugas, i did the interaction at sea world

  • Its just not right putting them in tanks in the first place. they shouldn't have to claim a tank as their home or have it as their 'house' they shouldn't even be going near humans and certainly not for food.

  • Animals are territorial so by now they should've already claimed this place as their home

How would you like it if someone chased you out of your house saying "you're free!"?

Not to mention they have it safe and easy in there than the ocean
