this is the best way to refill you CLI cartridges....forget all the other methods !!

i have seen various ways to refill the CLI cartridges and found this to be the best way, however i reset the chip before i refill, this stops any ink spilling out if the hole isnt properly sealed,
Also make sure you have a syringe needle long enough to reach the end of the tube inside the cartridge, i know it shows you to refill the empty ink tank this is important, if it refills into the sponge it causes alsorts of mess. Nice video too..

The ip4600 uses CLI-221 / PGI-221, which are not yet resettable with the Uni-Kit resetter for Canon (Uni-Kit is working on it). Suggest you buy new chips, they are now available

We recommend resetting the OEM chip, we have a Uni-Kit Resetter for the Canon CLI8 and PGI5 (see video, last part)

Canon ip4600 uses the Canon CLI221 / PGI220. They refill the same way as the Canon CLI8, but we dont yet have a resetter for the chips on the CLI221 series
