Hi! Jason Meggs here. I have nothing to do with people drinking in SF; please stop the desperate character assassination attempts. #2 ...the funny thing about this piece, which does an impressive job finding people drinking in a crowd of thousands, is that there's another event, Bay 2 Breakers, an endless parade of outrageously drunken debauchery, sponsored by a more successful news station...go figure. KRON is desperate for money -- is someone paying them to do these hit pieces & lie about CM?

While predicated upon real and factual video footage, it appears to me to be more of an opinion segment than a report of record. It is therefore less informative and more persuasive, and not un-biased, inasmuch as there are hundreds and thousands of riders on CM rides, the vast majority of whom are not drinking or using MJ. Where's the footage of those riders Mr. Roberts ? Oh wait a minute, I forgot, drama and titalation sells the car commercial that comes on after your segment.

Actually, the actual day of the ride we showed riders who were not drinking beer, smoking weed, or pissing in public....however to be fair we also showed everything even the video you don't like. It was not an opinion piece, I simply showed you what I found...and if you listen to the video, one lady yelled out she was drinking an energy drink.

Ahhh, would I rather be hit by a drunk motorist or a drunk cyclsit... hummm... I've also watched drunk cyclsits and drunk motorists- the cyclists didn't kill children... and they cyclist didn't ride far or FAST.. Watching children die are hard to forget... So, if it was up to me if people drink and drive or bike.. it'll be bicycle all the way...
