Heres the last video of my DC lvl4 12s. they are being pushed by my new Diablo Audio Technologies Hellfire 2500.1 amplifier. the flex inside my car astonishes me, but the camera does it no justice. I managed to break my rear deck about 10 minutes before this video, so i made sure to show the bass slapping it around.

  • ur amp catch fire yet?

  • @Rollinballserrday420

all 4 of them did, actually. AND about 10 minutes after i shot this video... this particular amp gave a very nice smoke show lolol

  • @J00bles dont see how they fucked up so much from the protoypes..

  • @Rollinballserrday420

its just the way the mosfets were positioned inside the amp. the legs were too close to each other and were able to arc current between them. its a shame, but im done with DAT and have moved on to MUCH bigger and better things :)

  • Good lookin out man.. I figured 4 cubes wud be fine.. run em to my Fosgate. T2500-bdCP

somewhere between 3.5 and 4 would be alright for that kind of power. closer to 3.5 would be more ideal

the box was 3.85 cubic feet after displacements tuned to 34 hertz.

  • I Gotta Start Off By Sayin That Ish Is Poundin Yo But Whats The Specs On Your Box.. I Wanna Do 2 Level Fours In My Scion Tc But I Want A Decent Idea On A Box Size.. Website Says 1.5 Cubic Feet Each Speaker But That Looks A Lot Bigger?

i have a 9884. my treble is usually around +3 depending on song, bass always at 0, hpf at either 120 or 160, and my balance and fade are always both at 0. my head unit has different settings from the new alpines

i couldnt honestly tell you what the problem is. alpines dont typically start clipping until 33-35/35 so that seems odd. everything in my mind is pointing to your speakers themselves. best investment i have made to my system is a small amp on the doors speakers.

  • hey man i know this vid is old but is that the alpine cda 105? if so i've been confused on how to turn the volume past like 20-22 without distortion... i don't have nice door speakers and a speaker amp yet, but is there a way the head unit can put out better quality at like 30? my settings right now are treble + 7, bass -7 or 0. hpf 100.. idk what else to do to make it sound cleaner past 21 ish so if you know any tips, i would appreciate the help, thanks
