DON-8r: Testing User Interaction

UPDATED INFO: DON-8r is a robot I have designed that travels through public environments relying upon coin donations from passers-by to keep it moving. Each donation it receives not only helps to "power" DON-8r for a short length of time but also goes directly towards supporting an associated charity (currently Dundee Science Centre- http://www.sensation.org.uk/) see my blog (link above) for more information and documentation.

This video is documenting some user interaction with the unfinished model. This is to help highlight a few tweaks and changes to be applied in due course.

DON-8r raised around £15 over the two days (not bad for primarily 1p and 2p donations!) This is all to be donated to Dundee Science Centre next week along with any more money raised.

UPDATE 2: A mention also for Dundee Science Centre to let everyone know that they have been great in supporting my project and that the centre is a genuinely fantastic place for families (and budding scientists) to visit. They are currently offering the deal of a Holiday Pass at just £4 more than the usual entry cost that allows you to come as often as you like in April, July, August and October for just one payment!
