I might be a "first generation Aussie" (European parents) but this song, which I first heard broadcast on the ABC when I was a kid in the 60s, never fails to bring a tear to my eye and make my heart swell with pride.

with the selling off of my beloved Australia to overseas interests, the pending CARBON TAX HOAX, there soon wont be much left ! Australia will be one big quary, with New Hope Mining and Chinese Communist mining BUYING UP Queensland, Victorian and NSW's Hunter and Liverpool plains soil rich FARMING properties, for the purpose of coal seam gas exploration, then this WONDERFUL song should be called "God HELP Australia" !

For god's sake this is the best national anthem we could ever want. It used to be played at the close of one of the tv stations in Perth in the 70's. Bring it back and email it to all you know.
