I used to race 4 stroke mx bikes. We assembled our top ends dry (piston and rings that is) Kick the bike over 40 times or so. Then put in oil, warm the bike, let her cool a bit. Warm her again, take it for a moderate ride, not too slow, but puttin on some load. Seems to be the best way of getting rings to seal with them bikes anyway.
some say that higher revs under light load actually helps to bed rings in better as they are wearing to the bore quicker giving a much better seal. could be why he is revving it higher.
@dandankarpinski222 Goes against everything I have heard...... But It is definitely something to consider......
maybe normal driving is a good compromise?

Yes, I tend to agree, it's making the engine labour that I'll prevent the rings and bores from wearing in.
