He said everything correctly, he just didn't explain it very well. Basically you have to cut your calories to lose weight and you can't just lose love handles exclusively. Your body burns fat from wherever you're genetically predisposed to. You can however tighten your love handles by making those oblique abs stronger.

luv all the comments saying stop going to mcdonalds.....not everyone whos fat eats at mcdonalds. this is like saying all black people drink kool aide, or all jews sleep in ovens...or all chinese people are good at math. i know 99.9% of fat people eat mcdonalds, but I am in the .1% that dosent, and I work out everyday its not easy to change your life but thats why we're all here.

get rid of lopve handles ,, STOP going to mc donalds, and start going to the gym, challenge yourself, go on the treadmill, , i do 2 miles walking on the treadmill everyday at a fairly fast speed, you can burn hip fat by moving your legs, even do the captains chair leg/knee raises,, theres endless exercises and diet is important too, substitute your big mac, with a fruit and vegetables, GooD LucK
