Ugandan Moses Kipsiro,having won the 5,000 earlier in the week,attempts to become the first athlete to do the magic 5/10 double in over 70 years of Empire/Commonwealth Games (the last man to do this was Cecil Matthews of New Zealand,who won the 3 and 6 Mile events in Sydney,Australia in 1938).
