I'm not being funny but people saying Emma is British and this is American, where do you think Robert Pattenson is from? And he is amazing and playing Edward, they are actors and they can put on accents if they have to
-
@tayswift1010 But Meryl Streep, an American actress, playing Margaret Thatcher, one of the most important people in modern Britain, is ok...?
-
Mweh, Emma is a great actress but she's not a great Sam...
-
I can see Emma as Sam perfectly. She's beautiful and she has the range to pull it off. I think it's a great choice. Emma is magnetic... she'll do a great job

im not trying to be rude but, Emma is from england and this movie is set in america. You know the typical american high school story? It just doesn't make sense to me that she plays Sam. I love Emma and her acting im just confused and I wonder how she is gonna pull it off.

As good as Emma may be, I just can't see her as Sam.
I wish I could, but I can't. I just really hope she does a good job, because she's a good actress... Maybe just not very... Sam. But I don't know.

Chbosky is directing it, so I'm sure it will be just perfect. So excited, absolutely cannot wait!

i have never been more excited for anything in my life.

In IMDB it says that the film has an R rating =o

too bad Emma dosen't fit the role of Sam at all
This movie better be rated R and not PG 13 or else I will be mad! I only say it because I want the movie to stay true to the book. If ya know what i'm sayin'...

3. The book doesn't have to be rated R for it to be good. PG-13 movies can show everything that they need to for the movie to be perfect.
4. The movie can cut stuff out. It doesn't have to follow the same exact storyline. In fact, I bet that a lot of you guys don't know it, but you would really think it quite boring if the movie was word-for-word the book. What matters is that you feel like you did when you read the book.
