The pattern generator produces 6 steps with step length 0.15 m, walking speed 0.3 m/s, and step height 0.04 m.
So far, we haven't implemented the stabilizers, that is why the robot is not able to perform overground walking.

  • @wlorenz65 hi, thanks for watching. I agree that redefinition problem you pointed out is really an issue in academia nowadays. I think as you notice, I have video which titled air walking rather than walking, unfortunately i didnt do it for this video. We have recent videos, as obliged to the EU project, I am not supposed to post new videos personally here. But you can check what I've programed last year: youtube video cCub-First Walking Steps.   • Cool definition. Headline "walking" = walking on air, and normal walking = "overground walking".

    Well, this is the standard way how problems get solved in AI: Build some kind of crap and then redefine the words "intelligence", "learning", "walking" and so on.
