My NT scan is coming up in about a week so I'm checking out vids to see how good I will be at guessing the gender of my baby by the nub lol... I guessed girl on your's, so I guess I have a good chance so far of getting it right haha.

I was 6 mons pregnant before the doctor could tell it was a girl.13 weeks is to early to tell what it is.

I Think it's a litle girl. Im 12 weeks pregnant and I have my NT scan next week. Im excited to see my little muppet properly for the first time. Since this was done at the begining of the year, you would know for sure by now wouldnt you? Please let me know how you go :)

I saw labia @4:54 - did you ask the tech to attempt to find the gender? I want to ask at my NT scan but not sure they will be as accomodating as your tech :)

@staceylynn10 I asked my peri if he wanted to guess on the gender. I have had two NT scans. I was told 99% sure my first was a boy by my peri who did the NT scan. This was a different peri who would only guess that she was a girl. I would search online about angle of the dangle, do your research and keep an eye out. Ask for a profile view of the gender area and see if it is level with the spine for a girl or sticks up more for a boy. I pushed and pushed for a guess, doesn't hurt to ask :-)

Congratulation it's a boy!!!... I say that coz I saw the testies and then the technician pointed to it too lol... So it's a boy ;)~

@mylieblue Ainslee is very much a girl. You can not see testies at that gestation. Only a "nub" that either angles up or angles down. Both look exactly the same at that point except for the "the angle of the dangle".

The peri that did the NT scan said girl. It was confirmed at 15 weeks, 18 weeks, 23 weeks and again at 27 weeks. Thank you for your comments but ashatbulaparanormal, you can tell at 13 weeks if the baby is a girl or boy based on angle of the dangle. A normal OB or ultrasound tech will not "guess" on the gender this early but a trained Peri that sees many early ultrasounds can normally tell you. It is also very easy to tell the gender by 15-16 weeks with a good ultrasound machine.
