Last weekend I recorded the most-successful racing Bentley ever, claiming victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930 with Bentley Boys drivers Woolf Barnato, "Tim" Birkin, and Glen Kidston. The Bentley Speed Six was introduced in 1928 as a more sporting version of the Bentley 6½ Litre. A very rare and unique racing Bentley and hard to see on the road. Only 182 Speed Six versions where ever built!

Wonderful car, but you have failed to mention Bernard Rubin, the brother-in-law of my cousin once removed. One of the original Bentley Boys and winner of Le Mans.

My opinion is, that it's one of those perfect replicas by 'Racing Green' of Wales with the 8 cylinder in line engine of the RR Phantom IV and of tanks, built up on Bentley Mk VI chassis. That's the reason why it has the 8 on the grill! The cars are brand new in fact, hence the perfect condition!
