  • Just to add here--i put my wires in an old garden hose with adel clamps, bolts, nuts and lock washers, holding the hose along the frame. Helps out the anti-rub factor.

  • I agree with arnoldcustom--ring terminal connector, solder and heat shrink tubing and maybe a splash of silicon. DRILL a PILOT hole (not using a screw as a drill bit !!!) maybe 2 sizes smaller than the screw hole and self tapping screw. And to do it really right (once again agreeing with arnold custom) yes run white wire back to the lights and brakes for a really good connection. Always think solid connection and sealing and protection (rubbing also occurs). Previous experience !!

  • Do the job right:, Run your white ground wire though out trailer to all lights, conect with soider and heat shrink tubeing, if you have electric bracks run you main ground wire as far as your wheel useing a 10 ga wire, tee off with a white 14 ga to all lights. You will never have a electracal problem again on your trailer, the way it's shown in this vid, it will rust out an not work every time you use it, and you will not have a gound, some times you get lucky and get it though your truck ball

  • @realhockeyman15 the ground is the - all the others are +

  • whats a ground ing wire for

  • not bad! only thing i would do is scrape off some of the paint on the trailer, where the grnd is mounted to make a solid connection
