60163 Tornado (whistle) on the Cathedrals Express, September 2009.

Here is a video that I have left very late but hey the footage is stunning so have a watch! The York bound train is in my YT collection already and won many honors at the time as well as being recognized by the A1 Preservation group as a selected media video. Any way enough of that please enjoy this footage, personally I think it is the better of the two pieces and why I didn't upload it at the time is beyond even myself!

Thanks, the whistle hear is the original A1 whistle. Normally she uses an A4 chime whistle.

Coming from an American rail fan, you folks should be very proud of the Tornado. She's a beautiful machine and only the UK can say they have the newest steam locomotive in the world. My hat's off to you!

Many thanks, yes at this area of line the loco's get up to their maximum legal speed which is about 75 mph if I'm correct. Thanks for your comment.
