Although Tommy Dorsey died in 1956, the orchestra bearing his name continued to perform and record with Warren Covington conducting. Probably the last chart hit in the modern pop era of a big band name was this recording of "Tea For Two Cha Cha Cha" from September of 1958. The song peaked at #7 that month demonstrating the popularity of Latin music and dances at this time in the U.S.
Very good!
