The Bunk extracts a confession from a suspect using manipulation and a mock polygraph test. His reasoning gives the episode its epigraph "the bigger the lie, the more they believe." (Season 5 Episode 1 "More with Less")

  • @BrunerMJ "the machine tells the tale, son"

  • "The machine is never wrong, son."

  • i swear this was one of the funniest things

  • I lolled so hard when the other guy came past and he said: 'All right, but i still aint saying shit to y'all.'

  • that kind of shit is enough to get a conviction overturned these days...guess cops have to do it the hard way now.

  • The actor playing Bunk had his father's house destroyed by Kathrina in New Orleans. Check him in an awesome documental "When the Levees Broke" by Spike Lee, he seems to be such a nice dude and the insurance companies that dealt with his problem were such criminal assholes...

  • Are we ready, Professor? LOL.

  • The actually did this in the 1980's Baltimore Police Department, but that was when technology and the people who lived in the ghetto were very separated. Now everyone has a cell phone and computer. I just don't know if this technique would still work.

  • Classic!

  • WOW, you dont see this kind of shit in NCIS or CSI! Those shows are mere bread crumbs compared to the Almighty "the WIre." And the only other time i've seen this trick in more recent shows was "The Unusuals." Okay show, but mishandled the copy machine scene.
