why do people big up the clio williams so much? I used to have a clio 16v and that was just as good and half the price too! Now i have a 172 and its way better than a williams and about the same price ! oh and it has more BHP so which would u rather have?

the williams DOES NOT have an engine taken from a F1 car. And 147 hp from 2.0 litres in that era is not high. opel gsi 150hp, ford rs 150 hp, alfa 150 then 155 hp, rover 1 hp less than willy with 0.2L less, peugeot 152 to 167, vw 150. Yeah, looks like the williams has really an F1 engine

both weight 1035 kg. rs has surely better acceleration. In this video.. yeah , williams made a better start, for the rest, rs has 0.8 lower 0/100 time.

The williams is not a drag car, just get in and boost it down a tight twisty road and you'll feel like your going faster than anything else. If the roads right it will destroy cars with 3x the power. Not the point it's about the sensation of speed and the feed back you get from this car gives you a pure driving experience! No?
