@D92Torre Sure they are, but one of em has more chops, and that's Marcus Miller. :)
-
@m2smoe Man, they are two diametrically different bassist :)
I don't think anyone could compare them! :)
-
@Speer82 Little kids with a hunk of wood in their hands is all. Most of times thats not even a bass...
-
@hwoodj20 damn. its about time somebody else in the world other than me has the same thought. I totally agree. probably half of these people with these better than comments probably don't even play bass. lol

@SlapBassBastard95 When it comes to "feel" and compositional prowess, Marcus stands alone :-) The phrasing in his left hand, and the gospely/bluesy way he "thinks" musically, will always drawn listeners to him. It's like when Yoda brings out his light sabre, or Bruce Lee starts bouncing back and forth on his legs! lol!

@doublethumpbass89 nothing wrong with riffs. Cliff Burton is considered one of the best bassists ever and he played riffs to the point that he almost sounded like a third guitarist. Musical taste is subjective (unless you're talking about top 40 and all that pop stuff. That's all shit lol)

les just plays riffs...marcus makes the bass sing..ask any rock bassist and they will tell you jazz bassist kick more ass than they ever will

@ghauff you mustve not heard of larry graham then i think marcus himself would agree lmao larry has the most animated funk ever. shit he helped created funk lol
Believe it or not, music is not a foot race. Nobody plays better, just different approaches. It's all a matter of who you like better, and thats cool for you, but I'm a little more mature than that ;-)
