We took a ride along one of the many jet boat touring companies last week. We climbed aboard a 1000 horsepowered jet boat in Gold Beach Oregon. Lots of wildlife people in their swimsuits enjoying the late summer days of summer. This outfit is located in Gold Beach Oregon. The boat is a 27 foot aluminum river boat with three engines in it. They run Chevy vortec motors in these boats. You are guaranteed a wet and wild ride aboard one of these aluminum river boats. The wildlife included brown bears, american bald eagles, fish ducks, and osprey. The scenery was also first class rated on this trip. We experienced numerous waterfalls along the way,With a tree that grows on a rock. The boat ride also included a dinner on your downriver run. The pilot would also perform the famous 360 spinout in the boat. The whole trip on the river was an astounding 104 miles round trip. We left at 12:00pm. and were back where we started at around 8:00 p.m. We also came across a few rafters enjoying the whitewater action on our way up river. This river is also popular with the steelhead fishermen in the late fall. The history learned about the indians and the many lodges upriver was pretty cool too. If you want to have a good time out in the great outdoors this is one trip you must book. This is a trip your whole family can enjoy! This video is edited to music also.

  • It doesnt even matter if its 1000hp the jet can only push some much water even if it was 2000 it would make no difference

  • That's true, They run three pumps one for each motor.

  • how much does this cost as oppose to hellsgate?

  • I think there pretty much the same for price wise. I have only taken the afternoon lunch run on Hellsgate. We have taken this trip twice and prefer it over Hellsgate. You get more whitewater action on the lower rogue than the upper from what I've experienced. Hellsgate only goes as far as the canyon and turns around I don't think they go as far as Graves Creek which we were hoping for. This trip is over 50 miles one way!

  • I rode that I thought the boats were blue

  • Those are the mailboats you rode in on. This was Jerrys across the river.

  • @GOGOTRON50 Actually....it makes all the difference in the world. More power means you can turn an impeller with more pitch faster and more efficiently which in turn will push more water. Same principles as a boat with propeller with the exception of a higher power loss through the drive train.

  • @GOGOTRON50 That's a weird statement...as if the designers don't match the pumps to the engines.

  • i hate when they run close to rocks, makes me jumpy

  • lol natives 1:05

  • @jcumiford14 They are either the Hamilton 212's or 213's ...

  • i wonder what kind of water jets there using on this boat?

  • pretty sick but why 1000 hp?? maybe like a fully tuned 405 would do about the same deff hittin the same speed

  • does it ever hit a rock?

  • Nobody wants to hear music over the sound of the boat.
