@GOGOTRON50 Actually....it makes all the difference in the world. More power means you can turn an impeller with more pitch faster and more efficiently which in turn will push more water. Same principles as a boat with propeller with the exception of a higher power loss through the drive train.

@GOGOTRON50 That's a weird statement...as if the designers don't match the pumps to the engines.

@jcumiford14 They are either the Hamilton 212's or 213's ...

i wonder what kind of water jets there using on this boat?
-
pretty sick but why 1000 hp?? maybe like a fully tuned 405 would do about the same deff hittin the same speed
-
does it ever hit a rock?
-
Nobody wants to hear music over the sound of the boat.
It doesnt even matter if its 1000hp the jet can only push some much water even if it was 2000 it would make no difference

That's true, They run three pumps one for each motor.

how much does this cost as oppose to hellsgate?
leftwingnazi 2 years ago
I think there pretty much the same for price wise. I have only taken the afternoon lunch run on Hellsgate. We have taken this trip twice and prefer it over Hellsgate. You get more whitewater action on the lower rogue than the upper from what I've experienced. Hellsgate only goes as far as the canyon and turns around I don't think they go as far as Graves Creek which we were hoping for. This trip is over 50 miles one way!

Those are the mailboats you rode in on. This was Jerrys across the river.
