@MrsSuratt The Beatles ripped off Frere Jacques for the refrain on Paperback Writer and it worked fine. Hosanna In Excelsis fits this song v. well. The only prob with this tune is it's lyrical weak.

@nancyzeetoo Steve Marriott admitted he snagged the melody from the traditonal song which includes the phrase "Hosanna In Excelsis" (in more modern terms "ding dong merrily on high hosanna in excelsis").

Every time i start a band or join one i usually end up singing. I always try to sound like weller, but when I I get recorded I sound like some kind of heavy metal. The band usually goes with it and we always quit doing mod covers and play metalica or something. My god I hate singing I'm like a dude I like shouldn't be usually.

@TFCHooligan69 They did Get Yourself Together as well. Weller's a huge SF fan. The Small Faces actually did not like this song themselves. At all.
Sounds a bit like Ding Dong Merrily on High if you ask me.
