@BwhildBwhildB Phil's success doesn't prove that he was a lynchpin...only that he was able to grab an opportunity and take advantage of it...along with the drive, talent, and good nature to keep it going. If you really want to have an idea of where Genesis could be had the kept the flame, you might want to peruse the entire Steve Hackett catalog. They dissed him and his contributions so he left and did what was true to the form.

@Relayer6a I agree. Phil's voice is annoying. His drumming is much better

stumbled on all of the postings by Magog64. Brought back great memories of this concert. Thanks for keeping a record of this amazing night. There were not many concerts at this venue in Montreal and this was the best that I can remember. Did you record any of Harmonium's concerts? If you did please post anything you have.

My point is Phil is an excellent drummer. One of the best. His work with brand X was brilliant. Peter is a better front man. Again, one of the best. Phil should play the drums. He's "THAT" good at it. I'm not the one proven to be an idiot here.

One more thing, my dear followers of immortal music. I served in the Canadian Military as a Signaller, ( radio operator) and in 2007 I was overseas in Afghan. And if you where ever in Kandahar city every Thursday that year, you would hear Dancing with the Moonlit Night and Suppers Ready from miles away, as I blasted it from our RG figthing vehicle, I believe if "democracy" should ever come to Afghanistan so could the best music the Western world has to offer.
I saw this show... unbeleivable
