Collard greens add texture, flavor and anti-cancer qualities to Dr La Puma's soul-soothing soup. When you chop or chew collard greens, you get the powerful, helpful chemicals isothiocyanates and indole-3-carbinol. They help your liver produce enzymes that detoxify cancer-causing toxins in your body. Get the complete recipe at ChefMD: http://www.chefmd.com/recipe_display.php?id=85 .

  • Excellent advice about the stems.

    Why waste them?

    Good work...try it and see!

    Enjoy!

  • I am eager to prepare this soup, thanks for the tips!

  • The stems are good! Why do so many people take the stems off of greens? Good recipe anyway... tofu can be a little bland if you don't prepare it before you put it in something though...
