You forgot to mention in Canada for the first 5 years you're probably either flying floats in northern Ontario fighting the bugs and suriving on shitty pay, or freezing your ass off in the NWT or Nunavut until you get that turbine/PIC time the majors want and even that doesn't guarentee an interview, it sure take a hell of a lot of perserverence.

Emigrate to north america. you can join the us airforce if you become a legal us citizen and dont have to be born in america. REally though it is luck of the draw who gets picked sometimes as the airlines have thousands of application each with equal experience and qualifications and they have to reject hundreds of apps of top performers military or civil. It's like a raffel in amny ways. THere will be many who won't land a pilot job simply due to the limited size of airline fleets worldwide

@kingpieman99 To be a pilot in the UK you do not have to achieve a ppl first! You need good GCSE results and preferably good A-level results too, also a degree in engineering would be advantageous! If you want to join the RAF go to their website, or arrange a meeting at an RAF career centre. If you want to take the commercial route you can enrol on a course that train commercial pilots specifically, some are, Oxford aviation academy, ctc wings or hereth. PM me if u still have questions
