Wall-E rocked because it made my eyes water...lol Across the Universe... well ummmm... 3/5... and the Wedding can wait a little longer. There's just something about it that doesn't justify an hour and a half of my day... I don't know, it didn't grab me even though I liked your review presentation of it.
The opening credits are great.

Across the Universe sounds like Sgt Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band, my all time least favourite movie ever. Except ATU actually sounds like it might be good.
