Adrian Leijer, David Carney and you're likely to hear the name Mark Milligan pretty soon. The A-League is varied, some teams are League Two level, most are high League One/lower-mid Championship. Teams that imported large numbers of League One/Two players early on did very poorly (see: New Zealand Knights). The standard has improved consistently with the rise of younger talented players and the return of old Socceroos from Europe e.g. Tony Popovic, Craig Moore, John Aloisi.

Good goal but A-League is Bridges' level now. He will shine in A-League as it is of similar standard to League Two in England.

I'm a CARLISLE UNITED fan and although Michael Bridges got sold to HULL, I still think he is a top class Striker.
