@talldude123 no, you said "Bring American cars *overseas*, and *Korean/Chinese cars to America*." - which is the exact opposite of your milquetoast save attempt.
@killercan10 Oursourcing seems to be the thing these days. Bring American cars overseas, and Korean/Chinese cars to America. Like what Ford did with their current line-up.
This car is rather disturbing. 4 speed automatic, 85hp, and built in Korea? Why didn't GM take the money spent making this Americanized and put into a stronger Malibu launch (2.5 and eco not just eco) or into bumping their trucks up or more into corvette? Or in any other brand? Smart car is nothing special, neither is Fiat 500 (save for the abarth maybe), why bother with this?
I think the main issue is mpg. Micro cars like these should be more economical, cheap and inexpensive to maintain. Who cares about music system and onstar. If these cars are not hitting 45 combined mpg... im keeping my 10 year old midsized sedan
GM is making the right choice in getting rid of the CD player. Most people that will buy this car will have some form of smart phone and will most likely be happier to stream Pandora than shuffle through a visor full of scratched up CDs. This is no different than PC manufacturers getting rid of the 3.5 floppy or Apple doing away with DVD drives when they came out with the air.
I've seen better reviews done by toasters.

@USAon3 I said "overseas". Most if not all of Ford's lineup is rebadged European Ford's.

@talldude123 name one Ford that comes from Korea or China.
Research what you're talking about before you flap your lips and someone calls bullshit.

@flatblackstrat Yep, it's been 10 years since I've bought a CD. I carry everything on a USB or an iPod
