  • not allowed to hunt over bait in illinois or indiana either

  • Was this a regulated hunt or are you guys allowed to hunt over bait in LA? In PA, it would be rare to see such a nice buck and we are not allowed to hunt over bait like that.

Nice buck and the vid was good since you admitted there was a little buck fever mixed in with that cold temp. ha ;-) Nice shot too.

  • @gmcopp18 try using the 343 grain bullets drops them cold

  • Gorgeous drop, better looking buck! Nice!

  • same with the sst bullets. kno of one deer a friend shot with them square through the shoulder blades and the deer ran a hundred yards

  • What load were you using when you took this buck? I have the same muzzleloader and shoot 100gr pyrodex with Hornaday 240gr xtp hollow points and have shot several deer only to find no blood trail on all of them. The gun is dialed in at 100 yards and is accurate as hell but the 240gr xtp leaves a hole the size of a .22.

  • Good clean kill

  • Nice video. And a great looking deer!

  • you can order all of the parts for traditions muzzelloaders directly from their website.

  • What loading did you use to bag that buck? I have 3 traditions... the inline Deertracker 209 primer, and two "Deerhunter" sidelocks.... one in .50, and the other in .54 caliber. Don't know if they even make these models anymore... I got 'em back when the line was first getting known.

Surprised at the accuracy of these budet rifles. Paid $69 for one at Kmart 'cause the ramrod was gone, then found, but once somethng is clearance priced it can't go back to regular stock.
