Keeping cologne in the bathroom will damage the chemicals inside, from the temp. going up from a hot shower. the best place to keep cologne is in a dark cool low temp area. like a drawer. and keep out of long periods of sunlight, that would turn cologne sour also.

Jeff, you should give Pinaud Clubman AS a try. It is the quintessential "barbershop" aftershave and is pretty well-regarded in the wetshaving community. You really can't go wrong for six dollars per bottle either.
