  • I'm a Jean Michel Jarre fan, and I've been told that I'd probably like Klaus Schulze. However, he's a pretty prolific guy and I'm not sure where to begin. Could anybody point me in the right direction?

  • Try "Irrlicht" and "Cyborg".

    Cheers!

  • donde consigo el disco...saludos

  • hi, it has been re-released in 1996 as a 2cd + a single with Current 93's cover of this song on United Durtro and with the title Ultrasonic Seraphim; I bought it back then...

    my best

  • Fantastic song and album, really rare but worthy having it.

    Recomended for all prog/kraut fans.

  • this lp is rare!!& expensive! but it's a CLASSIK !!!a classik OF COSMIC PROG & Krautrock!!the first track "helicoptere" is a revolution in éléctronik Prog& PSYCH than THE WHITE NOISE"an électric storm" or TONTO's E. BAND,and many more lp between 1968-1974!!!

    the Cosmic Psych'PROG revolution

of course Current 93 was inspired by SAND"golem" because it's just ...fantastik!

  • By far the greatest 'krautrock' lp,this sounds like nothing else and sounds totally unique even next to it's contemporaries.David Tibet (i think)once decribed this lp as 'a bizarre ghost of a sound, existing in some great empty void' I see what he means, especially 'Sarah'.

  • @COGENTCOG I always liked 'Silent running' with Michael Shrieve and my personal favorite is 'Timewind'.

  • I am proud to say i have the original Sand LP copy digitally transfer to my music collection along with almost every current 93, Death in June, Guided by Voices, Sol Invictus and (SMOG) all together 100+ albums and counting

    488 songs from current alone.

  • absolutely great..

  • I had a chance to buy a mint copy of this at a record show once for 80 bucks, I was young and stupid and didnt do it. Im still sad about that one. not as bad as the time I sold the elmore james lp on sphere sound for 5 dollars. that was the worst.

  • Excellent piece of music... Yep, at least David Tibet admitted he listened this ;-)
