My baby Bobcat

He's not really a Bobcat. That's his name. Sometimes I call him Babboos, or baby Bobcat. He's just a normal domestic short hair cat, born with his back legs and tail deformed. The vets think that the umbilical cord was wrapped around him during his development in the womb. He was born healthy and happy in June of 1996. This video was taken on May 7, 2005.

Unfortunately we had to put our beloved baby Bobcat down on May 6, 2010 due to an agressive form of lymphoma. He died peacefully in my arms.

I miss you Bobcat. I love you. See you in heaven.

@wranglerkowboy1 as I stated in the description to the video, Bobcat was born with his back legs and tail deformed. The vets think that the umbilical cord was wrapped around him during his development in the womb. He was given a complete physical when he was born and was deemed healthy and happy.

Thank you all so much for your very thoughtful and kind comments. I really did enjoy my time with him and I know he lived a good life with me. I tried my best...he was like my child! I am thinking of adopting another pet soon...I think it's time.

Actually I am not a fan of cats, but your cat was beautiful, and I loveee loveee the way when he first looked up at you. so priceless. So sorry for your loss. I lost my 2 dogs this year, one was dead and one was lost. They were born at the same time by the same mom, and left me in the same year. I miss them so muchhhhhhh................

When the cat looked up at you, he went meoww meoww...What did he want?

Bobcat was just talking to me...he was always talking and very expressive. I'd go "Hi Bobcat!" and he would just go "Meowww.."

@CinematicComics Why don't you learn to read? In the description to this video, I clearly state that his NAME is Bobcat, and that he is a domestic shorthair i.e. tabby house cat. Sheesh, some people.

As if I didn't know that my baby Bobcat was a tabby, after having him for 14 years. Good Lord.

Thank you for having taken care of that cute cat. :) I can't understand why some people buy purebred cats, there are so many other - especially neglected - cats in the world. For me, having a cat is not a status symbol but a sign of friendship with an animal. There is nothing as precious as an animal who loves you, because you have been good to him/her.

Most of our cats (four out of seven - only one is left now though :-/) just came to our house one day. Love cats for being honest...
